A couple of users have recently contacted us after observing a noticeable delay when changing song slides in Presenter after performing a Windows update. It turns out the update in question is the Windows 10 Build 1703, commonly referred to as the Creators Update released in April 2017 and is progressively being rolled out by regions worldwide.
As many users have been upgrading their system to Windows 10, here are some tips on ensuring Presenter 4 is able to play videos and other DirectShow media without problems. I’ve included notes for Version 2 and 3 as well.
A number of users have recently contacted us regarding transferring their Presenter 3 system from a computer with Windows XP to Windows 7 or 8. If you haven’t already heard, Microsoft announced that support for Windows XP is ending on April 8, 2014 and users are rightly concerned about its continued use.
